We didn't intend to redo our fence this week, but an accident that
occurred on Five Mile is going to prompt us into action. Two small pickups were involved. Adam, Greg, Rachel and I were in the den when it happened so needless to say, when we heard the "kaboom" we didn't waste any time getting out to the street. The woman behind the wheel of the white pickup that went through our fence was
unconscious. It is suspected that she was having a seizure when it occured as she appeared to have made no attempt to brake! She had a pulse and her eyes were flickering when they removed her to the ambulance! She came across the lane and slammed into a little black pickup that was also totalled and ended up on the other side of Country Squire on the corner. Thankfully, that young woman appeared unharmed although I suspect she'll be very sore tomorrow! Thank goodness for the burme or they would have ended up in our laps!
